That would be holiday photos as in Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and New Year’s photos - from this year or past years.
Our deadline is Friday, Dec. 15, with publication of the winner and runners-up scheduled for the Saturday, Dec. 23, edition of Richardson Neighbors.
You may submit as many photos as you wish and we’ll consider running them, especially if you have a package from a school, church or community fall festival. But only one photograph, identified by the photographer, may be submitted as a cover contest entry.
Here’s what we need from you to be considered for our holiday contest cover:
Format and file size required is JPG of about 2 MB or greater, around 300 dpi, e-mailed or dropped off at our office on a CD. Prints will be accepted as well – we’ll scan them.
Caption information, which must include the who, what, when, where and other circumstances or interesting details of the photo.
Photographer’s name, e-mail address and phone number must be included.
Specify with entry that the photo submission is for Neighbors holiday cover contest.

The deadline for contest submissions is noon Friday, Dec. 15.

Yavneh Academy will hold a Chanukah bazaar with art, music, books, home décor and more will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the academy's Schultz Rosenburg Campus, 12324 Merit Drive in North Dallas. For more information, call 972-839-6915 or e-mail info@yavnehdallas.org.

The Breckinridge Holiday Tour of Homes is set for 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Breckinridge Park area of northeast Richardson. Proceeds from the tour will benefit the Network of Community Ministries.
Two homes are located in the Estates of Breckinridge Creek and two are in the Heather Ridge Estates areas. One home will feature several Santa Clauses, while the second has numerous holiday trees with a worldwide theme, and the third and fourth homes will display the warmth of a family holiday season.
The event will include local florists, bakeries, coffee and gift shops.
Guides will be positioned throughout each house to present the information regarding the family that lives in the home and to explain the significance of the decorations.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door and can be purchased by contacting the Tiemeyer team at 972-470-0533 or at the Network office at 972-234-8919.
