Thanks for tribute

A couple of military moms wrote to us after publication last weekend in Richardson Neighbors of a story-and-photo package about local service people in Iraq.
"How can I ever thank you for the wonderful tribute you gave the LH Military boys (Dec. 16 edition). ... The lump came in my throat as I looked at each picture and read the letters once again," wrote Rhonda Russell of LH Military Moms support organization.
"As a mother of one of the military young men you featured ... I want to thank you for a bright spot in our rather dismal holiday season," wrote another, Pam Bryson, also from Lake Highlands and the Military Moms. "It is so important to know that people appreciate what our sons and daughters are giving up and doing for their country."
You can read the full text of their e-mails in the Saturday, Dec. 23 edition.
