Don Raney, who teaches genealogy courses at Richland College, will present a program on British migrations to the American colonies at the Collin County Genealogy Society meeting 7 p.m. today at the Harrington Library, 2501 Coit Road in Plano.
The program will discuss an overview of the four major migration groups from the British Isles that came to the American colonies before the Revolutionary War. Raney will also provide English Web sites to aid the researcher in discovering the origins of immigrant ancestors.
