Storyteller Doris Brown will portray her experiences and insights by telling thought-provoking stories at the Richardson Newcomers and Neighbors meeting and lunch at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Chuck’s Hamburgers, 502 Spanish Village Shopping Center in Far North Dallas.
Brown is a member of the Richardson/Plano Storytellers Guild and has represented this group at the state storytellers conference.
The club is open to women in Richardson, Plano and Dallas areas.

The City of Richardson is registering athletes for pre-spring softball and kickball. Both leagues, which start Feb. 25, will have seven games with a playoff for top teams. The registration fee is $325 for softball and $150 for kickball.
