The Lake Highlands High School pop ensemble Espree will present their annual spring show at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 2-3, in the auditorium, 9449 Church Road. This year’s event celebrates 50 years of rock and roll along with jazz renditions and current hits. Tickets are $10 reserved or $9 general admission. For ticket information, call 469-593-1061.

The Richardson High School Eaglette drill team will hold a mini camp for ages 6 to 16 Saturday, March 3, in the RHS gymnasium, 1250 W. Belt Line Road. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and classes at 9 a.m. The clinic concludes with a 1 p.m. performance by the participants.
Cost is $25 if paid by Friday, March 2, or $30 at the door. Price includes T-shirt, bottled water and a snack. Participants should bring sack lunches and wear T-shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers.

Lake Highlands-based Dallas Children’s Theater will perform a humorous version of Sleeping Beauty Friday, March 2, through Sunday, March 25, at El Centro College performance hall in downtown Dallas near the West End.
An independent, spunky princess named Briar Rose and her best friend Gryff, a half-dragon smart aleck, travel through the woods and meet eccentric characters. Prince Owain has standard princely features minus bravery, talent and competence.
The performance is geared toward ages 7 and up.

Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Fridays, 1:30 p.m. Saturdays and 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. Sundays. Ticket prices are $16 adults, $14 youth, $12 for groups of eight or more and $14 seniors and students.
A Target Time family series will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10, with tickets only $10 each.
