The Richardson High School Eaglettes will host their annual Main Street Market, a gift and vendor fair, Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4, at RHS, 1250 W. Belt Line Road.
The fund-raiser features more than 50 vendors, including jewelry, home décor, stationery, handbags, scrapbooking, foods, clothing, candles, quilts, spirit items, baked goods, raffles and more.

Two local students, winners of the 2007 Lennox International Young Artists Competition at UT Dallas, will perform in the program “Masterpieces for Strings and Piano” Saturday, March 3, at the Charles W. Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive.
They are Kyle Orth, 16, of Richardson, who earned first place for piano, and Suyun Lee, 16, of Far North Dallas, who won first place for violin.
Lee, a student at Plano West Senior High School, will perform Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D and Orth, who is home schooled, will perform Franz Liszt's Totentanz for piano and orchestra.
The Saturday performance also will feature maestro Anshel Brusilow and the Richardson Symphony Orchestra performing Maurice Ravel’s Rhapsodie Espagnole and the first area performance of Leopold Stokowski’s beautiful arrangement of the Romeo and Juliet Suite by Piotr Ilych Tchaikovsky.

Repertory Company Theatre will hold an open house from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the company’s new Promenade Theatre, 650 N. Coit Road, No. 2320. Phase one of theatre renovations will be complete. Workers are now beginning phase two.
The Promenade Theatre, now at 8,200 square feet, will house a 150-seat theatre, 50-seat black box hall, dance and multipurpose room, lobby, box office, green room and costume and set storage. The RCT will be able to expand services with more shows, performing arts education programs and community involvement.
