Canadian recording artists Leahy will perform with young North Texas dancers at their 8 p.m. Friday, March 9, concert at the Charles W. Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive.
Dancers interested in performing with the group should submit a short paragraph of no more than 100 words explaining why they should be called to dance with Leahy. Entries should be sent via mail to Leahy Dance Contest, Charles W. Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson, TX 75082; faxed to 972-744-5823; or e-mailed to sarah.nesbit@cor.gov. All entries must be received by 5 p.m. Monday, March 5. Winners will be notified Tuesday, March 6.
Tickets range from $20 to $50 and are available at www.eisemanncenter.com or by calling 972-744-4650.

The Richardson High School 5K run to benefit the RHS Excellence in Education Fund will be on the streets around the high school, 1250 W. Belt Line Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. today.
Cost is $20 in advance or $25 on the race day. Students pay $10.
