Learn more about “Current Drugs Used by Adolescents” from Cindy Phillips, director of the Dallas Police Department’s first offender program, at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Fretz Recreation Center at Hillcrest and Belt Line in Far North Dallas.
Phillips has more than 25 years of experience in both public and private practice working with adolescents. She is co-author of the book Positive Steps Approach: A Parents Guide to Teaching Youth to Be Responsible for Today.
She will talk about "cheese,” which is the new and dangerous drug predominantly found in North Dallas. She also will discuss alcohol and marijuana.
The presentation is for adults only – parents, teachers, administrators and citizens.
