Repertory summer camp

Repertory Company Theatre’s School of Musical Theatre will begin registration for Summer Theatre Camps Monday, March 12. Camps to be hosted at the new Promenade Theatre, 650 N. Coit, No. 2320, Richardson, include The Secret Garden, Summer Intensive and Darn Yankees for ages 5 through 17 in June and July.

Juried art show at Eisemann

The Richardson Civic Art Society hosts its 41st annual Regional Juried Art Show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and during all public events through April 1 at the Charles W. How to enjoy failure

Newcomer Friends of Greater Plano will host speaker Janet Rush with "How to Enjoy Failure, Be Amused by Rejection and Thrive on Stress" at its 10 a.m. meeting Tuesday, March 13.
Rush, who is known for her humorous, fast-paced, inspirational presentations, serves a client list that includes AT&T, DuPont, Ford Motor, Hyatt, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Neiman Marcus, State Farm and the Zig Ziglar Organization, among many others.
Coffee and social is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., the meeting at 10 and an optional after-meeting lunch. The event will be at SMU-in-Legacy, 5228 Tennyson Parkway, Plano, west of Preston Road on the southeast corner of Tennyson and Democracy.

Building a better you

Bryan Dodge, president of the Bryan Dodge Company, will speak on “How to Build a Better You” at the Richardson Chamber of Commerce’s business breakfast Thursday, March 15, at the Holiday Inn Select-Richardson, 1655 N. Central Expressway.
Check-in and networking begin at 7:15 a.m. with the program from 7:30 to 8:30.
Dodge is one of America’s most popular speakers on the subject of personal and professional development.
The "early bird" price is $20 for Chamber members, $25 for prospective members, with the registration deadline three days prior to the event. After the deadline, there is a $10 surcharge. Walk-in customers will be seated based on space-available basis.
