Lake Highlands-based Dallas Children’s Theater will perform a humorous version of Sleeping Beauty through Sunday, March 25, at El Centro College performance hall in downtown Dallas near the West End.
The performance is geared toward ages 7 and older.
Shows are 7:30 p.m. Fridays, 1:30 p.m. Saturdays and 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. Sundays.
Ticket prices are $16 adults, $14 youth, $12 for groups of eight or more and $14 seniors and students. To purchase tickets, call 214-740-0051 or visit www.dct.org.

Allen Kiwanis Club will host the Carson and Barnes Circus at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 30-31, and at 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 1, west of U.S. Highway 75 and Allen Drive.
The public is invited to the free circus tent-raising event scheduled to occur at about 9 a.m. Friday, March 30. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children and children younger than 2 are free. Tickets can be purchased beginning Thursday, March 15, at the Allen Kroger and Brookshire’s supermarkets, American National Bank at Greenville near Bethany and Terrell's Dry Cleaning at N. Greenville and Jupiter.

The University of Texas at Dallas will host a photography exhibit titled Immigrant Entrepreneurs: At Work and at Home in Dallas through May 1 at the Cecil and Ida Green Center on the school’s Richardson campus.
The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will feature works by Paul Greenburg, a distinguished Dallas photographer with a career spanning more than 30 years. Greenburg has turned his attention to the visual impact of immigrants from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America who own their own businesses in the Dallas area. The exhibit features 19 pairs of panoramic black and white photographs.
Curator of the exhibit is Richard Brettell, Margaret M. McDermott Distinguished Professor of Art and Aesthetic Studies.
